Why you should use a Wales Official Tourist Guides Association member
Members are the only guides officially recognised by Wales Tourist Board to guide in Wales.
Many have the prestigious 'Blue Badge' guide qualification, a mark of quality, expertise and, for over 50 years, the model for guide training courses worldwide.
Others operate under the 'Green Badge', a qualification of similar
standing, but restricted to a specific region of Wales.
All have undergone extensive training, passing both practical and academic guiding examinations.
They are people, from all walks of life, with a great interest in the past, present & future of Wales.
Members must adhere to a 'code of conduct' and will negotiate their own
guide fees.
They offer the professionalism to represent your organisation with clients.
They know the 'hidden gems' normally found only by locals, and provide you with fun and enlightening commentaries.
When visiting Wales, you could not be in more capable hands.
